The anticipation for a celebrated wine festival is intoxicating, especially when the excitement flows from the famed Bern’s Winefest, a four-day celebration of food and wine presented by Bern’s Family of Legends.
The festivities kick-off with Sidebern’s Gala on Friday, April 11 and ends with a Bern’s Winemakers dinner on Monday, April 14 with special guest appearance by winemaker Jean Luc-Columbo. The Grand Tasting on Sunday, April 13 will be an afternoon sure to satisfy the wine-loving taste buds with over 200 selections. To assist in making the wine tasting experience truly blissful, guests will be provided a complimentary crystal tasting glass. For those wanting to absorb a better understanding for wine, the event will comprise of two educational seminars.
“At the Grand Tasting we are again offering some of the best wines in the world,” said David Laxer, owner Bern’s Family of Legends. We would like to thank the Wagner Family of Wines, makers of Caymus, Conundrum and Mer Soleil; Domaine Jean-Luc Columbo and Jean-Luc Colombo himself; and the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance who will be pouring several of their wines and bringing their winemakers to the event. We hope everyone enjoys the tasting.”
The festival will host an unmatched cocktail party, with sparkling cocktails and mouth-watering dishes prepared by Sidebern’s executive chef Chad John, guaranteed to be the talk of the season. Dance the night away with the swinging sounds of the Lounge Cats. A portion of the ticket prices will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
