Pavilion XXII
A Journey of the Imagination
Planning and orchestrating Tampa’s premier white tie gala is no small task. Chairs Sandy and Floyd Juster are tackling the job with strong support of numerous committees and volunteers. Pavilion XXII promises to be a spectacular gala and the last to be held in the current Tampa Museum of Art. When asked why she agreed to the job, Sandy simply answers, “Art is my passion.”

The theme Image, reflects and reinforces what the future holds a new museum. “Every child needs to see a world-class museum,” said Juster. “I want to help bring more culture to Tampa.” Proceeds from Pavilion support the educational outreach programs and underwrite exhibitions. “It’s all for the kids, as they are the future,” she adds.
As a young girl, Sandy Juster traveled the world with her parents and credits them with instilling her love of art and music. Her father was the Ambassador to Nicaragua and she has visited museums all over the world. “I love Paris, London and New York,” said Juster. “My favorite museum is the Museum of Modern Art.”
Active on the museum board for six years, Sandy and Floyd participate in numerous charitable causes including the American Cancer Society, The Spring of Tampa Bay, Easter Seals, Make-A-Wish Foundation and Alpha House. Sandy has chaired Motown, Mozart and More for The Florida Orchestra for the past two years. “I enjoy classical music it’s wonderful
and beautiful.”
