The New Gorgonzola and Black Truffle Wagyu Burger.

Restaurant’s like The Capital Grille, legendary for dry aged steaks, added the New Gorgonzola and Black Truffle Wagyu Burger to a lunch menu now offering a gourmet food experience in “45 minutes or less.”

The Capital Grille’s new Gorgonzola and Black Truffle Wagyu Burger features American Wagyu beef and topped with Gorgonzola and black truffle “butter” and balsamic-glazed onions, the gourmet burger will be presented on a brioche bun and served with a side of Parmesan Truffle Fries. It will be offered alongside the restaurant’s five existing burger options, which include: Kona Crusted Wagyu Burger; Wild Mushroom Wagyu Cheeseburger; Wagyu Cheeseburger; Lobster and Crab Burger; and The Grille’s Signature Cheeseburger.
The Gorgonzola and Black Truffle Wagyu Burger is the newest addition to the gourmet burger offering, which are made exclusively with American Wagyu beef. The Capital Grille sources its Wagyu from Snake River Farms in Boise, Idaho, which started ranching over a decade ago with a small herd of Wagyu cattle from the Kobe region of Japan. Today, its proprietary Wagyu/Angus herd produces what is considered by many to be the finest quality of beef in the U.S.
Offered as an elevated yet lunch-appropriate take on the traditional hamburger, The Capital Grille’s gourmet burger selection also accommodates guests whose time is limited. The restaurant guarantees a lunch experience that will not exceed 45 minutes when ordering one of the six featured burgers, which will now have their own section on the menu.
The Capital Grille expanded its burger menu to further enhance its lunchtime offering. Currently, The Capital Grille’s lunch menu includes a “Plates” section, which offers guests the choice of a soup or salad and an entrée for $18. As with the gourmet burgers, the “Plates” offering comes with the 45-minute service guarantee.
“Many people still consider The Capital Grille as a dinner-only option; in recent years, though, we have worked hard to extend an equally exceptional lunchtime experience for our guests,” said Tampa Managing Partner Philip Holcombe. “In addition to our popular ‘Plates’ option, our gourmet burgers allow guests to enjoy a fine-dining experience in the middle of the day – even if they only have an hour to do so.”
