Naughty or Nice?

Pavilion XXX

 Tampa Museum of Art

Pavilion XXX Chairs, Penny and Jeff Vinik

One of Tampa’s oldest traditions and most glamorous galas returns on November 7th to celebrate a 30 year milestone anniversary. Keeping with a branding tradition of using Roman numerals to represent the year, 30 is XXX. Triple X.

Leave it to masters of ingenuity, Pavilion chairs, Penny and Jeff Vinik, to conjure up a theme that promises an elegant, cheeky, and fun evening.

At Pavilion XXX – Naughty or Nice, guests will enjoy the Museum’s current exhibitions, XTO + J-C: Christo and Jeanne Claude Featuring Works from the Bequest of David C. Copley, The Classical World, and Echoes of Antiquity. The evening will delight with fine dining by Mise en Place, surprise entertainment and performances throughout the night, and a live auction with opportunities to bid for one-of-a-kind experiences. Live music and late night dancing follow as Frequency tops off the evening.

Penny has always been passionate about art and museums. Penny holds a Masters in Art History and while living in her native Massachusetts, served on the Board of Trustees at Boston’s Museum of Fine Art. Her volunteer work has always been in the field of art. Penny, who is now a Trustee at the Tampa Museum of Art stated,

“One of the things I love most about the Tampa Museum of Art is its mission to bring art to a curious public. It is a gift to bring art to a city. Reaching our fundraising goals is a top priority, but I also want Pavilion guests to have a good time, leave happy, and with a warm feeling that will carry over to next year’s Pavilion.”

Proceeds from Pavilion benefit the Tampa Museum of Art’s exhibition and education programs.
