Tampa Bay Metro has pulled together some tasty “adult” drink recipes just in time for the Halloween weekend. Cheers!

The Bloody Brain Shooter

INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 oz. vodka (try flavored vodka for a twist)
1/8 oz. Rose’s lime juice
3/4 oz. Bailey’s Irish Cream
Splash of grenadine

DIRECTIONS
Chill vodka for better smoothness. Add vodka and lime juice to a shaker, shake and strain into a shot glass. Using a straw, dip some Bailey’s Irish Cream into the shot. Once you submerge the straw into the Bailey’s put your finger on top of the straw to hold the Bailey’s in the straw. Dip the straw tip into the vodka and slowly release your top finger. The Bailey’s will curdle a little bit due to the lime juice and you should be able to make strands of Bailey’s.
Repeat the vodka/Bailey’s process to build a “brain” in the shot glass. Add a splash of grenadine to the concoction to add the ‘blood’ to the mix. Down the hatch as a shot.

Black Devil Martini

INGREDIENTS
2 oz. dark rum
1/2 oz. dry vermouth
Black olive

DIRECTIONS
Stir and strain into chilled martini glass, garnish with olive.


 

Diabolique

GREY GOOSE Diabolique

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 oz. GREY GOOSE Le Citron
1/3 oz. Cointreau
1/3 oz. Fresh Pineapple Juice
3/4 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 oz. Crème de Mure

PREPARATIONS
Build all the ingredients apart from the Crème de Mure in a mixing glass. Top with cubed ice and shake. Fine strain into a highball glass, then add a cap of crushed ice. Drizzle with Crème de Mure and garnish with a pineapple slice and mint.

Jack-O-Chata

INGREDIENTS
2 oz. Butterscotch Schnapps
2 oz. Rum Chata Caribbean Cream Rum Liqueur
1 oz. Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey

PREPARATION
In a mixing tin, combine ingredients over ice, shake, strain into shot glass.
