Casual Meets Gourmet
Located on the second floor of St. Petersburg’s Sundial, and above Chef Michael Mina’s LOCALE Market, FarmTable Kitchen is a new American restaurant featuring farm-to-table cuisine that focuses on fresh, seasonal, regionally sourced and house-made products. FarmTable Kitchen, known to many locally as a casual wine bar concept, has grown to feature table service dining, and is now open for lunch and dinner daily.
“The success of LOCALE Market and our guests’ demand for a full-service dining experience, lead us to create FarmTable Kitchen,” notes James Beard Award-Winning Chef Michael Mina. “Because we’re connected to LOCALE Market, we have the ability to utilize them to source many of our ingredients and products.”
The seasonally shifting menu highlights new American dishes made from scratch, as well as products made on-site daily, including prime steaks, dry aged in house, hand made pastas and stone hearth pizzas. The menu selection is versatile, unique and exciting. From the Cheese and Charcuterie starters with cheeses from Italy — sottocenere and taleggio — France, Spain and the US; you’ll also want to sink your teeth into great dishes like their salmon and bison, the duck fat french fries, as well as organic chicken, lamb and hand crafted pasta selections.
The bar serves a wide variety of wines by the glass and locally brewed beers, as well as vermouth and wine cocktails. Desserts are made fresh daily as well, with choices such as german chocolate cake, devil’s food cake and their Elvis cupcakes.
With 100 indoor dining seats and 145 total seats (including the bar and patio), FarmTable Kitchen provides comfortable intimate seating for couples, small groups or larger parties. The Chef’s Table, an interactive, chef-driven, 8 course Tasting Menu, is offered as a communal dining experience in the ten seat private dining room on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings.
