Downtown Tampa Independence Day Fireworks Celebration

Due to construction at Channelside, downtown Tampa’s annual fireworks celebration moves to the Tampa Convention Center, bringing good viewing areas all along the Riverwalk.

In partnership with the City of Tampa, Friends of the Riverwalk will produce the fireworks display in the harbor in front of the Tampa Convention Center. Firework viewing will be available from the Tampa Riverwalk in that location as well as the restaurants, bars, and hotels in the vicinity with a direct view of the harbor. Free.

4th Of July Family FunFest

The S.S. AMERICAN VICTORY will host viewing of Tampa’s annual July 4th Fireworks aboard this historic World War II merchant steamship and national landmark, offering the “best view in Tampa” for watching the celebrated fireworks display.

The evening event features musical entertainment from DJ Ian Paul, a special Kids Zone with two face painters from 6:30-8:30pm, games, as well as arts and crafts. Refreshments will be available for purchase from some of your favorite local food trucks! Beer and wine available as well.

Proceeds help raise funds for the maintenance and operation of the AMERICAN VICTORY SHIP. Built in 1945, the ship is one of only four operational World War II merchant steamships in the U.S. The ship is supported by public donations, special events, training services, educational activities and historical tours for children and adults.

Fourth of July at Busch Gardens

This Independence Day, families can celebrate the red, white and blue with a night of thrill rides, live entertainment, and incredible extended fireworks show at Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay. Tampa Red, White and Blue Festival

Celebrate with live mixed music, arts and crafts, food vendors, Family Feud contest, a most patriotic dressed competition, magic and Uncle Sam on stilts. Free with an advanced RSVP; for families without RSVP, a community contribution of $5 will be requested per adult, kids under 12 are free!

This year, there will be something special for everyone, even your pets. Feel free to bring your dog to celebrate at the fest with you.

Fireworks Across the Bay Celebration in St. Petersburg

Grab your lawn chairs and come watch the spectacular fireworks display over Tampa Bay. Along the waterfront in downtown St. Petersburg. No alcohol or personal fireworks allowed. Highlights include live music by AudioStar, kids’ activities, food trucks and Q105’s Flash broadcasting patriotic music from 5 to 7 p.m. Free.

Patriotic Picnic and Fireworks in Tarpon Springs

Head to Craig Park in Tarpon Springs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring the family to enjoy a water slide, paddle boarding, inflatables, lawn games and free hot dogs while supplies last! Save room for the hot dog eating contest at noon (ages 16 and up). Live entertainment provided by Rusty Trumpet from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., featuring patriotic songs and hits from the 60s to now.

Fireworks start around 8:30 p.m. and are best seen from Howard Park Beach. Free.

Safety Harbor Fourth of July

Bring the whole family out for a July 4th Celebration, Safety Harbor style! The day will start with a patriotic parade down Main Street from 10 a.m. to noon. In the evening, there will be children’s activities, live entertainment, and food vendors starting at 5 p.m. Grab a good seat in the marina or the waterfront park to watch the fireworks display lighting up the sky at 9 p.m. Free.
