8th Annual Gasparilla Music Festival
March 9 – 10

For music lovers throughout Tampa Bay, the 8th Annual Gasparilla Music Festival presented by Cigar City Brewing, delivers a terrific lineup of bands performing at the two-day festival, March 9 – 10 in downtown Tampa. More than 40 bands, across five stages, will perform along Tampa’s waterfront. “We have some amazing artists in store for our 8th year,” said David Cox, Executive Director of the Gasparilla Music Foundation.

More than 20,000 people are expected at the two day festival, held in and around Curtis Hixon Park. American folk rockers, The Avett Brothers will be headlining on Saturday, March 9, and rocker and soul artist Gary Clark Jr. will be closing the festival on Sunday, March 10.

There is a wide selection of artists to satisfy most any musical tastes. A complete list of performances and scheduled times can be found online at www.gasparillamusic.com/2019-lineup. Always a fan favorite is the Silent Disco that will be on Saturday night from 7- 10 p.m. at the Morgan Auto Riverside Overlook. It is aways fun to watch and dance to different genres, while wearing headphones and selecting your own music. 

Each day there will also be a family friendly KidsFest from 11 am – 5 pm. Kids under 12 will be admitted into KidsFest for free. Musical talent Laurie Berkner will headline KidsFest.

The Gasparilla Music Festival is produced by the non-profit Gasparilla Music Foundation, who works year-round supporting music and education through its Recycled Tunes Program. Recycled Tunes provides new and used instruments to local Title I elementary schools and has supported over 26 schools in the Tampa Bay area.
