Now in its 13th year, the festival emerged as one of the fastest-growing film festivals in the U.S. and has been recognized as a top-50 festival. The festival is operated by the nonprofit Tampa Film Institute, Inc. GIFF is expecting attendance of 15,000 film lovers at over 110 films and 20+ parties and events, including industry panels that are free to attend. From the opening red carpet party, the filmmaker forums, film screenings, and closing night party, GIFF is supporting and cultivating the film industry in Tampa Bay and throughout the state of Florida. The Opening VIP reception on March 19, celebrates the opening of the festival with food and drinks served by Zukku Sushi.
