blankEleven years ago, Tampa native Will Wellman was diagnosed with the rare kidney disease Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). Seemingly overnight, he found himself fighting a debilitating illness. Enter a group of childhood friends determined to make a difference and a friendly barbecue competition that would become known as the first Tampa Pig Jig.

More than 8,000 guests will gather at Curtis Hixon Park on Saturday, October 19, 2019 to help raise money for NephCure Kidney International, as they ‘cue up a cure for FSGS and Nephrotic Syndrome.
