Tampa Bay METRO attended the groundbreaking ceremony and it was surely a day to remember as love and appreciation for the performing arts filled the air proving that Tampa is deserving of this revamp. Construction already underway, the 80 million dollar master plan is set for completion early 2027.

Beyond the arts, the redevelopment will catalyze further growth along the riverfront, breathing new life into one of the city’s most scenic and vibrant areas.

The “Boundless” Campaign for the New Straz carries limitless potential—rekindling excitement, increasing visibility, and solidifying the Center’s place among the world’s elite cultural institutions.
