Boulon Brasserie

In the heart of the Water Street neighborhood in downtown Tampa, Boulon Brasserie and its Boulon Bakery welcome guests morning, noon and night. The concept created by Next Level Brands opened in January 2023 to much excitement. Boulon is the 2nd concept from Next Level Brands whose partners include Jeff Gigante, Andrew Wright and Joseph Guggino, and are changing the landscape of Tampa Bay’s dining scene.

The French-inspired bistro has a chic interior that is comfortable, yet sophisticated with the bar that spans the length of the dining room. Al Fresco dining is available on the patio covered with large bistro umbrellas and greenery.

The kitchen is now under the direction of Executive Chef Fernando Sanchez, while Pastry Chef Summer Bailey handles the Boulon Bakery, and all things sweet.

The menu focuses on locally sourced ingredients, fresh seafood and modern interpretations of French classics. Great menu starters include Escargots En Croûte with garlic herb butter, Blue Crab Beignets and Shrimp Nola. The Onion Soup Gratinée is also delicious with its flavorful broth and cheesy crusted top. Main dishes that we particularly enjoyed were the Scallop Risotto, Duck Confit and the Steak Frites that can be served with a Filet, NY Strip or vegetarian option of Cauliflower Steak.

Feeling indulgent? The menu has caviar service with Kaluga Hybrid or Ossetra priced by the ounce served with brioche, blinis, crème fraîche, egg, shallot and chive.

When the Lightning are playing or there is an event at Amalie Arena, Boulon is center stage. It’s the prefect spot to gather for a crafted cocktail and dinner before heading to the game or concert. Or meet up with friends, or meet new ones, with a post-game celebratory drink.

Boulon is meant to be a gathering place where good food, good wine and better company come together, we think they have succeeded.  M
