Festivities on the 4th of July consist of memorable times with family and friends. This year is packed with various happenings all focused around food, drinks, music and captivating firework productions. Starting at 4 p.m., enjoy local vendors and food trucks, family friendly activities, live music and buskers throughout the park. There will be a free patriotic performance at The BayCare Sound by The BayCare Sound Symphony. No tickets are needed and seating is first-come, first served. A fireworks display will grace the night’s sky at 9:30 p.m. Following the fireworks, join an immersive silent disco party on the Coachman Park Promenade Pier until 11 p.m.

Gulfport starts the days festivities with a kids fishing derby from 8-10:30 a.m. on the seawall outside the Michael J. Yakes Recreation Complex. Continuing the celebration with a Red, White and Blue-themed family sand sculpting contest from 10 a.m.-noon on Gulfport Beach. Enjoy a parade on Beach Boulevard at 6 p.m. and fireworks at 9 p.m. Free. 8 a.m.-9 p.m. July 4.

Locals and tourists are invited to celebrate Independence Day at The St. Pete Pier on Thursday, July 4, for its annual celebration at the Pier. This FREE event will feature fun activities for all ages including the family fun zone, craft beer garden, food trucks and vendors, live music and of course fireworks! No ticket purchase is necessary as this event is open to the public.

Let the countdown begin for our Heights District Fourth of July Celebration at Armature Works! This year’s event is presented by Budweiser and benefits K9s For Warriors.
Festivities include a large-scale riverfront concert, spectacular fireworks display, Friends of the Riverwalk Boat Parade, annual Hot Dog Eating competition, Kid’s Zone, and family-friendly fun all day long. The celebration kicks off at 4pm and will go until 10pm! This event is free to the public with the following options to upgrade for guaranteed seating.

Tampa’s Downtown will sparkle with celebrations this Independence Day as Mayor Jane Castor’s Boom by the Bay returns for 2024. A delicious new all-American competition, the Apple Pie Throwdown, will join a 4th of July lineup of family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and—of course—fireworks!

Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park serves as the headquarters for the Boom by the Bay festivities. Sponsored by the Tampa Downtown Partnership and the City of Tampa, the festival will feature the new Apple Pie Throwdown, food trucks, outdoor games, live music and entertainment, and much more. At dusk, a booming fireworks display will light up the sky. Fireworks timing may be adjusted based on weather conditions. Boom by the Bay begins at 4 p.m. on July 4 and admission is free.
