New Levels of Luxury Lifestyle Coming To Tampa Bay
Tampa Bay METRO recently had the opportunity to talk with the developers of the Viceroy Residences on Clearwater Beach. The project will offer world-class hospitality from Viceroy, which is en route to redefine luxury living along the water in the Clearwater Beach area.
BH3 Management and U.S. Development are playing key roles in integrating this fresh new build. Offering 86 Viceroy-branded beachfront condominium residences within dual nine-story towers. A resort-style pool adjacent to the 270-foot-wide secluded beach protected by jetties on both sides allows privacy, adding to the exclusive feel.
At the opening of the $5 million sales center, METRO Publisher, Stephen Parag II, met with John Farina, CEO of U.S. Development, to learn more.
John, how did you pick Clearwater for this exciting project?
“If you really look at the west coast of Florida, you’ll see that most of the new condominium projects started in Naples and Sarasota. There really hasn’t been a development offering of this quality in the Tampa/Clearwater area, and when we came here to view the property, the Gulf, the marine life, sunsets… we knew almost if you build it, they will want it.”
After the storms, any hesitation in bringing a project like this to the area?
“No, we think that even after the storms, providing an offering with the resiliency features, dual gas-powered generation for all systems, which people don’t have, it’s not in the market. When you’re living here, you can withstand the storm. It’s essentially a bunker. It’s an opportunity for buyers to feel safe in the area that they love.”
Who do you see as the ideal resident?
“Existing residents of Clearwater Beach that love the area and don’t want to live anywhere else. They may be living in a product that’s 20-25 years old, using older codes and standards. When you’re delivering something to newer codes and this level of luxury, people are wanting to make the move, especially when you factor in the resiliency features and the amenities offered.”
