Beacon Roof Top LoungeThe second highest public rooftop in Florida, curated in partnership with internationally renowned interior design firm AvroKO, the ambiance, a fusion of elegance and vibrant energy capture the spirit of Tampa. The lounge is open daily from 5 p.m. until late, and has several unique spaces. Intimate seating areas, an outdoor terrace and a signature bar all depict the beauty of Tampa Bay’s vivid sunsets.

Beacon Roof Top LoungeRelax and enjoy a variety of cocktails that are as bountiful as the views. The Cocktail program at JW Marriott Tampa Water Street is developed by Sean Noddin. Refreshing options such as the Zalmero consisting of Don Fulano reposado tequila, Galliano espresso liquor, lime, cinnamon and pineapple foam or The Rising Sun, a blend of Roku Japanese gin, sesame, yuzu, pineapple, orgeat, and peychaud’s bitters. Each will liven the mood and elevate the senses.

The culinary menu is designed for light bites. Divided into Tastes, Tartines, Tossed, Cheese and Desserts, the tastebuds are sure to be satisfied and yearning for more. Steamed Buns, a bite to savor as the pork belly, pickled daikon and carrots, hoisin vinaigrette and thai chili combine to enlighten through the various flavor profiles. The Pomme Pavé  with its crispy potato base garnished with crème fraiche, chives, shaved truffle and caviar is an option   for those seeking to cure that need for a starch.

Dive into a Tartine, French for Toast, boasting a plethora of combinations such as the Fig and Pig, blending goat cheese, fig, chorizo and marcona almond or a lighter option being the Heritage Tomato, lemon buffalo ricotta paired with marinated tomatoes and  avocado mousse.

The culinary experience at Beacon aims to provide an endeavor of the senses presenting seasonal flavors and local ingredients. The “Tossed” section of the menu proves that these aren’t your standard salads. The Compressed Watermelon, a delicious partnership between marinated feta, heirloom tomato, cucumber and balsamic pearls. The other option is Apple and Burrata, which empowers the flavor combination of a honey crisp apple, prosciutto di parma and agrodolce. Mix and match any of the above with a cheese or charcuterie board and be well on the way to full on culinary immersion.

Beacon Roof Top LoungeAlways save room for the decadent desserts available as the curators of  this menu, Sous Chef Roy Bryant may of hit a home run with the menu, however Pastry Chef Natalia Meshalkina is just getting started. The Meyer Lemon Tiramisu, Halva Bar or Dulce Creme Caramel are the options truly allowing the finale to be thoughtfully chosen.
