DENTISTS OF DISTINCTION: Dr. Nadia Pokrovskaya

Dr. Nadia Pokrovskaya is the owner and dental clinic director of the Clearwater Dentist. She has been practicing in the dental field for over 27 years.

Dr. Nadia was born in Russia into a family of musicians and artists. She graduated with B.A. in Education from a University in Russia. A year after immigrating in 1995 she started her career as a Dental Assistant in Boston, where she discovered her passion for dentistry, and pursued further education.

Dr. Nadia completed her post-baccalaureate premedical program at Harvard University. In 2009, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She served in the United States Air Force as a Captain and Dentist, and in 2012 returned to the Boston area, and started to practice in her private clinics on Cape Cod, MA. She also served as Chair of Cape Cod district of MA dental society 2017-2019.

“I love working as a dentist. I love my patients, and I love my staff. The reason I come to work is to see my patients excitement after getting beautiful and healthy smiles back. So many people do not smile because they are embarrassed of what their teeth look like. So many people have pain in their teeth. This makes people unhappy; it effects their entire life — they get depressed, have trouble getting a good job, and can’t fully participate in life. I simply love that I can help people, and make them happy. I love when my patients smile after the visit!”

Dr. Nadia contributes to her community by active participation in fund raising. She is concerned about the well-being of the local community, and passionate about animal rescue.
